Media Requirements –
Media are required to submit appropriate media credentials as part of their registration including a photocopy or scan of official press credentials and a letter of assignment from the media organization being represented. Business cards or membership cards from news media, communications, or writers’ organizations are not sufficient to establish eligibility.
Independent television production companies are required to provide a letter outlining the confirmed broadcast plans for their work prior to the event.
Freelance media are required to submit an official letter of assignment from a news organization or magazine.
Online media must submit similar documentation verifying the intended use of the content collected from Tribal Journeys 2008.
Media Program – Welcoming, August 3, 2009
Accredited media are welcome to attend the Landing activities on August, 3 in Downtown Suquamish. More information is available upon request. Media will be positioned in a defined area on site to ensure access to the landing and protocol procedures. Media will be required to check in with the on-site Communications Manager upon arrival.
Important Security and Conduct Information
For security reasons, only accredited media will be provided access to the Welcoming site. Upon registering media agree to follow the protocols outlined by Tribal Journeys and respect the directions of the traditions of Tribal Journeys.
